Ventspils is an undiscovered summer destination #1 in Latvia. Actually we wonder why it is still so undiscovered. It is a seaside resort that features a unique atmosphere somewhat reminiscent of the atmosphere of the Frisian Islands.
Untamed Baltic sea, a beach of a Blue flag with fine white sand, unique local architecture from middle ages which harmoniously combines with the modern one which has won awards at international and Latvian design competitions.
Ventspils is a capital of fountains and flowers. Fountains in Ventspils are “one of a kind” and have deserved several international awards.
Ventspils is a city with abundance of flowers and is it decorated with amazing flower figures in summer.
in 2002 and 2012 Ventspils has hosted cow parades and several cows sculptures reside in the city. Those colourful participants of Cow parade feature even the wonderful sense of humour of the locals.
Ventspils is a city that won’t leave you indifferent!
It is a city one can fall in love with from the first sight, a city that will always be dreamed of in anticipation of a new meeting.
