We invite you to make a day trip to enchanting rivers of Ida-Virumaa in Northeastern Estonia. Cute Rannapungerja, Tagajõgi, Roostoja and Jaama and the 3-rd largest Estonian river Narva delight the eye with picturesque landscapes, scenic banks and relaxing atmosphere of peace and tranquillity.
This route will take you to hydroelectric power plant, which is also an architectural monument, peculiar bridge, lighthouse, medieval castle ruins women’s monastery and the 3-rd largest Estonian city Narva. You will also see Europe’s 5-th largest lake Peipus and two magnificent landscapes, where one river flows into the lake and the other flows out of it. This river outing will be a wonderful opportunity to relax and unwind in the beautiful environment of Alutaguse National Park in Ida-Virumaa.
