Since 1920’s the region has become a popular seaside resort destination which offers opportunities to enjoy a beach vacation and invigorate one’s health. Ida-Virumaa teems of SPA-hotels that provide a wide array of services including various beauty treatments and rituals that can pamper one’s health, restore natural beauty and renew body and mind. The region is also home to numerous beaches including Estonia’s longest beach.

Ida-Virumaa beach tour is a summer itinerary for those holidaymakers who prefer to combine beach vacation with exploring natural beauty and discovering cultural heritage. This route will take you to 5 beaches of Ida-Virumaa each of which is unique in its own way – the longest beach in Estonia, picturesque beach with “singing sands “on the shore of Europe’s 5-th largest lake, a beach strewn with flat boulders, a wild beach in lush “Nordic jungle” and a beach that boasts a masterpiece of modern Estonian architecture – a wooden building of the year 2019. Here you can bask in the sun, swim, enjoy outdoor activities and savour versatile gastronomic experiences. In our guidebook you can find a list of numerous eateries (including beach restaurants), where you can enjoy traditional dishes and modern cuisine. Local lampreys and craft beer from “Wild East” are absolute musts for degustation in the region!
