The further South, the later autumn comes. We try to catch up every moment of Nature’s ‘Golden Fashion Show”, admire and reward with applaud.

Lithuania is the Southermost Baltic country and here we can follow the last act of the show. Lithuania’s capital Vilnius is a perfect destination for that. The hilly terrain gives a lot of options to observe spectacular autumn landscapes and panaramas from above, and golden foliage seems to be consonant with the splendour of the famouse Vilnius baroque.

On the way back from Vilnius you will find a hidden treasure – a little Lithuanian town Anykščiai with the perfect, “canonical” forest eulogized by the prominent Lithuanian writers and poets. You will be able to walk in the treetops and see the autumns views from the birds eye from a “one- of –a- kind” observation tower. Perhaps after that you will exclaim “Am I in a wood or in Paradise!” Exactly like the famous native of the town, the great Lithuanian poet – Antanas Baranauskas.
